Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC in Thomaston, GA is hiring a Paramedic (Physician Substitute) to ensure donor health and safety on site. You will work with center staff to create a positive donor experience and support a fast-growing plasma donation network.

The role offers hourly pay of $23-$25 plus benefits and a potential monthly bonus, with full-time employment and cross-training across center functions including phlebotomy. Must be 18+, Paramedic credential, BLS, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
• Certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation
