Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC seeks a Paramedic (Physician Substitute) to join our Center Medical team in Jackson, MS. You will help ensure donor health and safety and contribute to a welcoming donor experience.

This full-time position offers $23–$25 per hour plus benefits and the potential for a monthly bonus, with cross-training across center functions and opportunities for career growth in a fast-scaling organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to create a positive environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross‑trained in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.
