Job summary

St. Mary-Corwin in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Paramedic for the Flight For Life ALS/BLS Transport team.

You will provide direct ALS/BLS patient care during transport, assess conditions, administer medications, operate medical equipment, and follow safety protocols for critical transport operations. As a Transport Crew member, you will evaluate lifethreatening and secondary conditions, document care accurately, and maintain vehicle and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification (Colorado) and National Registry Paramedic certification.
• Current CAMTS certification requirements must be maintained.
• EVOC/CVEO training completed within six months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ALS/BLS transport care for medications and respiratory therapies per guidelines.
• Demonstrate compassion in interactions with families and patients.
• Document patient care activities in a timely manner and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and operations for medical transport, including universal precautions and ambulance safety.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are decontaminated and stocked.
