Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic for the Glen Ellyn contract. The Paramedic will provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level in accordance with IDPH/EMS Commission rules.

Starting pay is $76,843.52. The role requires active paramedic license, CPR, and a valid IL driver's license, with Metro offering ACLS/PALS training and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license required.
• Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be at least 21.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• ACLS training available through Metro.
• PALS training available through Metro.
• Firefighter certification preferred in Illinois.
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check completed.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Glen Ellyn contract. Starting pay is $76,843.52. The basic function of the Paramedic is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Parametric Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Illinois Firefighter Certification Preferred
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
