Job summary

Ute Pass Regional Health Service District is seeking dedicated EMTs and Paramedics to support interfacility transport operations, delivering safe, professional, and compassionate patient care during transfers between healthcare facilities.

Ideal candidates are clinically confident, communicate clearly with patients and hospital staff, and can work 12-hour shifts in a rotating schedule, maintaining unit readiness and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Paramedic certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• NREMT certification.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain EVOC certification.
• Ability to complete the agency’s orientation and field training program.
• Ability to safely operate an ambulance.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry patients and equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to complete accurate patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, professional patient care during interfacility transfers.
• Assess, monitor, and support patients throughout transfer.
• Coordinate with sending and receiving facilities.
• Maintain unit readiness and documentation.
• Represent District professionally in interactions.
• Participate in required orientation and training.
