Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service is hiring Paramedics in multiple Michigan locations, including Southfield, Detroit and beyond. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Emergency Medical Care and prompt transportation for patients in accordance with state EMS regulations.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, accurate documentation, and clear communication with medical staff, plus vehicle upkeep and adherence to safety protocols. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• NREMT or state license (or pending) required.
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Attendance to company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as per Paramedic training.
• Provide safe transportation and accurately read addresses and locations.
• Assess a patient and convey the condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide accurate written reports describing patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor fluid levels and gauges.
