Lake Charlevoix EMS Authority in Charlevoix, MI is seeking dedicated Paramedics to join our team and deliver high-quality emergency medical care to the community.

You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide Advanced Life Support, document assessments and treatments, and coordinate with hospitals to ensure smooth patient handoffs.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan State EMT licensure required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• PHTLS certification required (will train in house).
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Prior EMS field experience preferred; new graduates with clinical excellence encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced life support (BLS) care in the field.
• Assess, treat, and stabilize patients using advanced medical equipment and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handoffs and continuity of care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and transport information in patient care reports (PCRs)
