Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s EMS network is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to provide pre-hospital care across CT. The role involves responding to dispatch instructions, delivering life support, operating emergency vehicles, and ensuring supplies are stocked and maintained.

Requirements include CT paramedic license, CT Driver's license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and a high school diploma or GED. The position offers opportunities in a network focused on education, growth, and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CT Driver's License is required.
• Valid State of Connecticut Paramedic License (experience preferred).
• Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner.
• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly to administer necessary life support.
• Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy.
• Maintains stocking, restocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
• Provides accurate and timely written communication on patient disposition.
