Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a state Paramedic license.
• Must hold a state driver’s license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Physical agility test must be passed.
• Some work experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills in a progressive medical setting.
• Communicate with patients and reassure them.
• Act as a team leader when necessary.
• Collaborate professionally with public safety personnel.
