We are seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Northwest Homer contract.

The primary role of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation at the EMT-P level, within their scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• CPR Certified
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (training provided by Metro)
• PALS (training provided by Metro)
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
