Overview

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Fire Services. Much of our success is due to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Newport contract.

The primary role of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

  • Paramedic License
  • Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
  • CPR Certified
  • 21 Years of age or older
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License
  • ACLS (training provided by Metro)
  • PALS (training provided by Metro)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
