Job summary

Hesston Fire/EMS is seeking a full-time Paramedic. The role offers an occupied schedule of 24 hours on and 24 hours off, with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday pattern in week one and Tuesday/Thursday in week two, on a weekday basis.

Starting salary is $57,000 annually with overtime, excellent benefits including 90% paid health, dental and vision for single/family coverage, KPERS retirement, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a $60/month phone stipend. KEMSA membership is included.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas driver’s license and Kansas Paramedic certification at hire.
• National Firefighter I and II certification is preferred.
• Candidates must pass a background check and a department physical assessment.
