Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. seeks a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for Boone County Fire Protection #2. The role provides medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic level within the defined scope of practice by IDPH/EMS Commission of Illinois.

Essential qualifications include Paramedic License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification, CPR, 21+ years, Illinois driver's license, and ACLS/PALS with Metro-provided training. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license and Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification are required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois driver's license is required.
• ACLS and PALS training will be provided by Metro.

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Boone County Fire Protection #2

The basic function of theParamedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at theParamedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
