Job summary

Falck Northwest Corp. is seeking a Paramedic Field Training Officer (FTO) to provide pre-hospital staff with essential training, education, and support for high-quality care. The role includes evaluating staff performance and delivering remediation guidance to ensure compliance with clinical and protocol standards.

Compensation includes a monthly stipend of $350, with responsibilities spanning field and classroom instruction, policy interpretation, and leadership in scene management when needed.

Qualifications

• Current on all county and company required certifications and licensures.
• Minimum of six-months experience in a busy 911 system.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to the Clinical Education Department to improve training and QA/QI programs.
• Communicate company goals and standards of excellence through exemplary daily job performance, attitude, initiative, and demeanor.
• Provide exemplary patient care and customer service.
• Reinforce and uphold the goals and objectives of the new employee orientation program.
• Identify, evaluate and remediate individuals who are not meeting and exceeding Falck’s performance standards.
• Conduct field training, education, evaluation and remediation of new and continuing employees.
• Provide classroom instruction in a variety of pre-hospital care related subjects.
