Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA seeks a Paramedic Field Supervisor to support Operations Manager, supervise field staff, handle staffing and dispatch, and ensure readiness in a high-volume EMS service. You will provide patient care at your certification level when supervising, perform QA audits, act as liaison between referrals and dispatch, and help maintain safety, performance, and compliance.

This safety-sensitive role requires leadership, on-shift coverage, and excellence in documentation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT-Paramedic Certification or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attendant in charge on ALS/BLS transports as applicable.
• Provide feedback, coaching and corrective action to team members.
• Assist dispatch with coordination and prioritization of transports requiring special coordination.
• Develop and enforce Valley Health policies and conduct risk investigations.
• Complete required clinical and billing documentation before shift end.
