Job summary

Mercy EMS is seeking a capable Paramedic to provide direct patient care in field operations across diverse environments in Idaho. You will assess and stabilize patients, perform advanced life support, and coordinate transport to appropriate destinations under Medical Director guidance.

The role requires strong physical endurance, the ability to access difficult terrain, and the capability to work in high-stress situations while maintaining clear communication with teams and patients.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice.
• Valid driving license.
• Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced medical rescue to access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients.
• Handle clerical and maintenance duties as required.
• Work in challenging environments and conditions, coordinating with teams to ensure safety and successful patient outcomes.
