West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Full Time Paramedic for Night shift to assist nursing staff and physicians in emergency treatment for patients of all ages. You will document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Requirements include a Florida Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/PALS, completion of a Paramedic course, and 1 year hospital or nursing home experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.
• Paramedic course completion is required.
• One year hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• State of Florida Paramedic License.
• Healthy Interventions required within three months of hire.

Assists professional nursing staff and physicians with the provision of emergency treatment to patients of all ages at West Boca Medical Center and off site at West Boca Emergency Center. Documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Position Requirements/Qualifications: (including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge /experience)

Education Minimum:

High School or GED Equivalent

Must have completed Paramedic course

Experience:

One (1) year in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.

Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.

Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:

American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS

State of Florida Paramedic License

Healthy Interventions required within three (3) months of hire
