Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective communication.
• Reads, writes and interprets instructions in English.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver license and insurable driving record.
• Certified as a Paramedic in Texas; CPR, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS/ITLS credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day and drives emergency vehicles.
• Performs direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
• Maintains equipment and vehicles in ready-to-use condition.
• Completes patient care reports, billing information and related documentation promptly.
