Job summary

LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi is seeking a Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our team in Memphis, TN. You will respond to emergency calls, assess patients, administer medications, and perform lifesaving procedures while transporting patients to facilities.

The position requires a Tennessee Paramedic license, CPR certification, and the ability to lift heavy loads. You will mentor EMTs in paramedic training and contribute to a high-quality EMS team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to pass background checks.
• Must hold Tennessee Paramedic license with current CPR.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 100 lbs as needed.
• Must respond to emergency and provide ALS-level care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital patient care per local Standing Medical Orders.
• Respond to emergency medical calls and render ALS-level care.
• Assess patient condition and determine treatment course.
• Administer medications per Standing Medical Orders.
• Perform advanced life support as required by protocol.
• Mentor EMTs in paramedic training when needed.

Job Summary:

LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will respond to emergency calls, providing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities. You will be responsible for assessing medical situations, administering medications, and performing emergency lifesaving procedures. Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-hospital patient care as outlined in local Standing Medical Orders
• Respond to emergency medical calls for assistance and provide care that coincides with the local Standing Medical Orders and level of training
• Assess a patient\'s condition and determine a course of treatment
• Administer medications as outlined in local Standing Medical Orders
• Perform advanced life support measures as outlined in local Standing Medical Orders
• Mentor EMTs that are students in paramedic school (requires 1 year of Paramedic experience and/or Preceptor certification)

Requirements:

• Skills and experience incumbent to function with proficiency at the ALS level of service
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Tennessee Licensure as a Paramedic
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Current CPR card
• Consent to a criminal background check
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 100+ lbs.
