LifeCare is seeking an EMT-B in the Nashville area to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide basic EMS care, and transport patients to hospitals while continuing patient care during transport. Candidates must be able to work under pressure with calm, professional conduct and have 100+ lb lifting capacity.
Requirements include Tennessee EMT-B licensure, CPR, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and consent to a background check. On-site roles with benefits are offered.

EMTs are professionally trained to care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings. Provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured. People’s lives often depend on their quick reaction and competent care. EMTs respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities and continue to give care as necessary during the transport of the patient to the hospital.
EMTs must always perform their duties in a calm, reassuring and efficient manner. They must be able to maintain their composure in extremely stressful situations in order to assess medical situations and perform emergency lifesaving procedures according to the methods in which they've received training.
They must also be able to safely transfer a patient onto and lift and carry a stretcher into the ambulance in the event the patient needs to go to the hospital.
