Job summary

Global Medical Response is actively hiring Paramedics and EMTs for Southern California locations including Ventura/Oxnard, Lancaster, Napa deployment and more. Responsibilities include on-scene patient care, using defibrillators, EKGs, oxygen and IVs, and leading the EMS team on scene.

EMTs respond to emergencies and provide high-quality care with confidentiality and safety at the forefront. Requirements include CA Paramedic License or CA Driver's License with Ambulance Driver's License,

Qualifications

CA Paramedic License and CA Ambulance Driver's License are required.
CA Driver's License and CA Ambulance Driver's License are required.
BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association are required.
Driving record must be compliant with company policy.
GED or High School Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine the best action with paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
