Job summary

Medstar Ambulance in Detroit is hiring EMTs and Paramedics at our newly opened Detroit station. You will join a growing EMS provider delivering 911 response, interfacility transport, and critical care transport services across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Paramedic License.
• Michigan EMT license.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Physically able to perform the functions of the job (physical agility and lifting).
• American Heart Association CPR and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support 911 rescue operations in Detroit and surrounding communities (Grosse Pointe, Harper Woods).
• Participate in Interfacility Transport (IFT) and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services.
• Contribute to growing EMS operations and patient care with Medstar's expanding network.

Medstar provides 911 emergency response services to more communities in Southeast Michigan than any other EMS provider, and our critical care, air medical, and interfacility transport partnerships continue to expand throughout the region.

Our new Detroit station is an exciting part of that growth! Team members will support 911 rescue operations in the Grosse Pointe communities and Harper Woods, along with new emergency response contracts as we expand. The station also supports Interfacility Transport (IFT) and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services for our partner health systems, providing a variety of experiences and opportunities to grow your EMS career.
