Job summary

Medstar Ambulance Michigan is seeking Deployment Technicians to prepare ambulances for duty shifts, including stocking supplies and cleaning vehicles. You will complete readiness checklists and support the delivery of emergency and interfacility patient care.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented self-starters who can work with minimal supervision in a garage setting and are able to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Operator Driver's License required with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of work experience, preferably with vehicle detailing.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a garage setting.
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, lift and walk long distances.
• Must pass a drug screen and undergo a fit-for-duty evaluation and background screen.

Deployment Technicians are responsible for preparing ambulance for duty shifts, including stocking supplies, washing vehicles, and completing checklists. Candidates must be reliable, organized self-starters, with a strong attention to detail, as their role is critical to the delivery of emergency and interfacility patient care and transportation.

Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Operators Drivers license and a good driving record;
• Minimum 1-year work experience, preferably with experience detailing vehicles;
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a garage setting.
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, lift, and walk long distances is required.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and fit for duty evaluation; along with a criminal background screen.
