Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System EMS is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care and transportation for patients in the New Bern area. The role involves performing department duties under the EMS Manager and ensuring high-quality patient care within the system.

Qualified candidates will hold NC Paramedic credentials, have EMT-Paramedic experience, and complete required certifications within one year of hire. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current North Carolina Paramedic credential upon hire.
• One year EMT-Paramedic experience preferred.
• AHA BCLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS, PALS and PHTLS certifications required within one year of hire.
• Must maintain NC driver's license and valid vehicle operation license.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and patient transportation.
• Perform departmental duties for EMS department and EMS Manager.
