Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a PRN Paramedic to join our emergency transport team. You will identify and stabilize patients, provide direct medical care, and manage advanced airways and ventilators under EMS protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting care in ePCR, communicating with dispatch, educating patients and families, and ensuring equipment safety. A valid paramedic license with BLS/ACLS/PALS is required, with CDL preferred. Employment offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in EMS or healthcare.
• Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS and Paramedic license.
• CDL or valid driver's license.
• Read/write English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, intervene, and stabilize patients during transport.
• Provide direct medical care per EMS protocols.
• Establish and manage advanced airways and ventilators.
• Document patient care in ePCR and communicate with dispatch.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely in varied conditions.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and interventions.
• Inspect and maintain equipment for safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
