The role you’ll contribute:

Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  1. Provides primary patient care activities on transports approved to be at the ALS level by the EMS Medical Director.
  2. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate.
  3. Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions.
  4. Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public.
  5. Monitors and anticipates needs for additional equipment and appropriately secures tools to meet patient care demands during transport.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  1. One year of medical emergency experience
  2. Graduated from a Paramedic program.
  3. American Heart - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  4. American Heart - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  5. Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent.
