Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic - Emergency Room to support patient care under the Medical Director and coordinate with the charge nurse for shift assignments and duties.

The role focuses on delivering quality care in a high-acuity ER, following hospital philosophy and goals. Applicants must hold Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS/PALS credentials within specified periods, and have at least 1 year of emergency experience.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification and active licensure.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS Instructor certification/ACLS required within 6 months.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS Instructor within 6 months.
• At least 1 year of experience in emergency care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
