Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Room to deliver high-quality patient care under the Medical Director’s guidance. You will report to the charge nurse for shift assignments and duties delegated by RNs based on patient needs.

Required certifications include BCLS (within 30 days), ACLS and PALS within 6 months, and active Paramedic credential with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Paramedic credential is required.
• ACLS Instructor or ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
