Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a dedicated Paramedic - Emergency Room to deliver patient-centered care under the Medical Director’s guidance. You will support the ER team and respond to critical events in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications and Paramedic licensure, plus at least one year of experience. This role is based at our Addison, TX campus with full benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic license/credential
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Minimum 1 year of related experience

• Provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare; assist RN as delegated within scope and facility policy.

Job Summary and Qualifications

TheParamedicwill be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
