Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic - Emergency Room to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED. The role reports to the charge nurse and collaborates with the Medical Director to ensure safe, efficient patient management.

Qualified candidates hold Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS with timelines for each, and have at least one year of ER or related experience. The hospital emphasizes comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director.
• Assist the RN with delegated tasks as allowed by RN guidance and state regulations.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
