This role involves effective communication with co-workers, patients, families, and visitors. It also includes providing a safe environment and performing delegated functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or as per approved protocols.
Required: Graduate from an accredited paramedic program with a license to practice in Louisiana.
Required: 4 years of current paramedic field care experience.
Preferred: Prior air medical transport experience.
Required: National Registry license to practice in Mississippi and CPR Healthcare Provider Certification.
Preferred: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
The above describes the general nature and level of work; other duties may be added or amended as needed.
