A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department, focused on night shifts. Responsibilities include providing emergency medical services, collaborating with medical staff, and maintaining care documentation. This role demands strong communication skills and relevant EMT-Paramedic certifications.
24 or 36 hrs/week, night shift, 7p-7a, every third weekend, every other holiday
This is NOT a contingent position.
Base pay $21.93/hr. Benefits eligible.
Provides emergency medical services and treatment to Emergency Department (ED) patients. Evaluates and stabilizes patients in accordance with hospital and departmental policy.
As required by listed licensure and/or certification requirement.

Occasionally: Biohazard waste, climb stairs/ladder, color vision, electricity, lifting/carrying 41-60 lbs, 61-100 lbs, loud noises, machinery, peripheral vision, power tools, pushing/pulling over 100 lbs with assistance.
Frequently: Bend/twist, exposure to blood/bodily fluids, chemicals/medications, communicable diseases, decision making, depth perception, fumes, gases, vapors, various lifting/carrying weights, patient equipment, reaching above shoulder, repetitive hand/arm use, seeing far/near, sitting, squatting/kneeling.
Continuously: Audible speech, hearing acuity, data interpretation, problem solving, standing, walking.
