Summary

Performs direct patient care duties under the supervision of a Physician and as assigned by a Registered Nurse. Handles administrative, clerical, and clinical duties, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. Maintains accurate documentation reflecting patient conditions, treatments, and responses. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or equivalency, current Ohio EMT-Paramedic certification, successful completion of the Intermediate EKG test within three months, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months, current BLS from AHA, and ACLS certification. Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred: None.

Physical requirements include ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently, lift 250-300 pounds with assistance, and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance. Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products may occur.
