Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department on a full-time, on-site basis at the main campus in Tampa, FL. The role supports physicians and registered nurses, delivering technical assistance and authorized treatments in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an accredited Paramedic program credential, an active Florida Paramedic license, and ACLS certification. The schedule includes a full-time rotation across seven days, with on-site work only.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited Paramedic program.
Active Florida Paramedic license.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

The Paramedic provides technical assistance and performs selected acts, including the administration of treatments, under the supervision of the ER Physician and/or Registered Nurse.
The Paramedic is accountable for his/her own actions.
Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Education
