Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 2-4 years of experience in the paramedic field or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Vermont Paramedic License or Vermont Registered Nurse License with EMS experience is required.
• Knowledge of course content being delivered.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and flexible decision-making capabilities.
• Team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift while instructing/supervising students.

Responsibilities

• Supervision, education, and evaluation of students as assigned by the Program Director.
• Review and abide by student handbook policies.
• Attend scheduled in-service meetings and department meetings as scheduled.
• Collaboration with faculty and staff to ensure syllabi, learning objectives, and evaluations are followed.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty.
• Work outside regular business hours might be expected.
• Occasional in-state travel may be anticipated.
