Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Part-time ED Technician to work 24 hours per week from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The role operates under medical direction of the Medical Director and direct supervision of the ED attending physician, providing care per orders and assisting in data collection within the scope of practice.

Qualified candidates must be a current EMT-Paramedic in Florida, with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-Paramedic certification in Florida required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
• One year Paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients per physician orders and policies.
• Report clinical and psychosocial findings to the RN and ED Attending.
• Collect pertinent data within certification scope of practice.
