The role you’ll contribute:

Assist with patient care in the emergency department (ED) under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN). Perform emergency care procedures, including assisting with Advanced Life Support (ALS) under physician guidance. Maintain proper communication channels and keep relevant parties informed about the patient's condition.

• Perform patient care tasks safely and competently, following hospital policies and standards of care.
• Coordinate care with the RN and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Recognize changes in patient status, report immediately to the RN, and assist with timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families.

Qualifications:

The expertise and experience you need:

• Graduate of an accredited paramedic science program with current Florida state certification.
• Certifications: EMT-P, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
