Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Paramedic Nurse Extender to support adult and pediatric patients under supervision of an RN or Physician. The role emphasizes age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care in a safe environment.

You will participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, advocate for patients, educate families, and oversee unlicensed personnel. Georgia LP certification required; BLS/ACLS/PALS licenses expected upon hire.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.
  • BCLS, ACLS required; PALS required with start-date timeframe.
  • Licensed Paramedic in GA required; National Registry preferred.

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 1 year of experience as a Paramedic Preferred
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • ACLS Upon Hire Required and
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Paramedics new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date within 120 Days Required and
  • LP - Licensed Paramedic Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
  • LP - Licensed Paramedic Current certification as a Paramedic in the National Registry Preferred
