Job Title: Paramedic - Emergency Department (E.D.)

Position Overview:

• The E.D. Paramedic is a professional caregiver providing patient care in accordance with the Medical Support Team Physician, Southwest General Health Center, and Ohio Revised Code. The role involves working within the licensure of the Ohio Paramedic Certification, providing patient care, assisting with patient transport, monitoring equipment, and documenting appropriately. The E.D. Paramedic must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care considering age, developmental stage, and psycho-social maturity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Required licensure and certifications:
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PALS and BTLS certifications preferred.
