Job Details
  • This role is located within a Correctional Facility
  • Providing emergency and routine treatment and evaluations as directed by Nursing and Medical Staff
  • Adhering to all Facility policies, procedures, and Board of Nursing rules and regulations
  • Participating in data collection, medication audits, and other performance improvement activities related to medication administration
  • Providing other direct patient care activities within the scope of the Paramedic certification
  • Reporting adverse patient events immediately to a supervisor
  • Performing intake evaluations on patients as directed
  • Ensuring confidentiality and rights of patients, and adhering to HIPAA Regulations
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Current BLS Certification and Paramedic certification in Georgia
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and follow standardized procedures
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Sign-on bonus: Full-time: $5,000, Part-time: $2,500, PRN: $1,250
