Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• BLS and EMTP certifications required.
• Advanced patient assessment and knowledge of equipment and protocols.
• Active EMT/Paramedic license or certification is required.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Performs primary job responsibilities listed for Paramedic including response, patient assessment, vital signs, patient monitoring and diagnostics, patient moving and lifting, medication administration.
• 20% - Maintaining equipment in proper working order
• 10% - Daily cleaning to include mandatory weekly disinfecting of ambulances/equipment and station
• 10% - Report writing and documentation
