Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program
• One year related experience in a medical environment
• Equivalent combination of education and experience as allowed by law or regulation
• Paramedic licensure in GA and BLS Certification prior to start

Responsibilities

• Performs basic, advanced life support patient care and patient assessments within established protocols
• Coordinates emergency care procedures with nursing and medical staff
• Develops and utilizes triage skills to provide optimal efficiency
• Ensures security of medications during administration and maintains safety
• Reports adverse patient events to a supervisor
• Maintains confidentiality and rights of patients and documents per policies and regulations
• Performs other duties to support organizational goals
