FirstClass Healthcare seeks a Paramedic to deliver emergency medical care in a correctional healthcare setting. You will perform basic and advanced life support and patient assessments under licensed medical supervision.

You will work with nursing and medical staff, coordinate care, adhere to protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with safety, security, and regulatory requirements while supporting the organization's goals and mission.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program.
• One year related experience in a medical environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential duties.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic and advanced life support and patient assessments within established protocols, stabilization, and treatment.
• Coordinates emergency care procedures with authorized nursing and medical staff to ensure patient health and safety.
• Develops and utilizes triage skills to provide optimal efficiency as needed.
• Ensures security of medications while administration is occurring; as well as keeping safety top priority.
• Reports any adverse patient events or reactions immediately to a supervisor.
• Maintains confidentiality and rights of patients and health systems by adhering to all policies and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support FirstClass Healthcare’s goals, objectives and values.
