We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chase Car Paramedic to join our medical services team. The Chase Car Paramedic will operate in a crucial role providing rapid medical response and support to our ambulance crews during ALS transports. (Use of an on-call room when not engaged in transports).
Starting rate of $30/hr. and the potential for a quarterly sign on bonus ($500 for every 500 hours, up to $2,000)!
Positions based out of Springfield, PA 19064.
The successful Paramedic candidate is responsible for providing services at assigned locations.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Render exceptional patient care in both pre-hospital and inter-facility setting.
  • Deliver superb customer service to everyone you encounter, including patients, their families, neighbors and the people in the facilities.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation as per company policy and/or local and EPAB.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance as a representative of KQT.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of your workspace including vehicles, offices and facilities in which you operate.
  • Safely operate and maintain assigned emergency vehicles and equipment in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, facilities and dispatch.
  • Demonstrate the skills and knowledge of a Paramedic as per the standards set forth by the United States Department of Transportation – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and/or the Department of Health.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry.
  • Frequently lift and/or move more than 175 pounds including lifting, moving and carrying patients up and down stairs.
  • Work in the elements (Cold, Heat, Rain, Snow, etc.).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completion of a EMT Basic/Intermediate program and acceptance for licensure in PA.
  • EVOC Certification.
  • Maintain current and valid EMT Paramedic Certification.
  • Maintain current and valid ALS certification.
  • Maintain current certification cards on all other skill-based pay levels (BTLS, PALS, NALS, etc.).
  • Maintain current other required certification(s).
  • Maintain current CPR card.
  • One-year related experience preferred.
  • Maintain current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 175 pounds.
  • Basic computer knowledge (all documentation, timekeeping, etc., done electronically).
  • All positions require pre-employment Drug Screen and DOT physical.
  • As part of the new hire process, KQT does conduct background screening.
