Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance is hiring a Paramedic for Central Massachusetts, Holyoke. This part-time position requires IV placement, medication administration, and prehospital care across trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies.

You will perform on-site care, ambulance transport, and complete daily PCR documentation with adherence to protocols. Required MA Paramedic certification, National Registry, CPR and ACLS, plus 1–3 years EMT experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Paramedic Certification and National Registry Paramedic Certification.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• 1–3 years EMT B/A experience preferred.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies and standards.
• Attend to patients courteously and professionally.
• Operate the ambulance according to safety rules and regulations and laws.
• Complete ambulances and equipment checklists at shift start and ensure readiness.
• Submit all documentation/ PCR requirements daily.
• Communicate effectively with agencies, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Perform daily housekeeping at bases of operation.
• Maintain reliable attendance and report as scheduled.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
