Paramedic

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Full-Time Paramedic Opportunity

We're hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess each call to determine the best course of action, following progressive Paramedic protocols.
  2. Utilize your skills with medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  4. Act as team leader when necessary, managing the scene and unit.
  5. Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
  6. Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, including fellow Paramedics.
  7. Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and community relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Ability to pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some healthcare work experience preferred
