Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Paramedics for a full-time night shift. The base pay is $33.99 per hour and is further determined by experience. You will deliver advanced patient care, operate critical medical equipment, and support on-scene operations during emergencies.

As a Paramedic team leader, you will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with other health and safety professionals. You may also engage in community programs to uphold AMR's image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License required
• State Driver's License required
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
