Job summary

Global Medical Response in Oklahoma is seeking Paramedics for a PART-TIME opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care to our customers.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, using medical equipment, communicating with patients, leading teams, and driving the ambulance on 911 responses. A state paramedic license and appropriate certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License and valid State Driver's License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy and ability to pass agility test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and family to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Paramedic PART-TIME Opportunity

We're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
