Job summary

AMR in Billings is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role delivering advanced patient care on 911 responses. You will assess scenes, apply Paramedic protocols, operate defibrillators and monitors, and lead the on-scene team.

A $15K sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment. Required are a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Paramedic License.
• BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Drive record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliantwithcompanypolicy

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
