Job summary

AMR in Billings, Montana is hiring a Paramedic in a full-time role. You will provide advanced patient care, operate defibrillators and monitors, and lead on-scene actions during 911 responses.

Requirements include a State Paramedic License, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certification. A $15K sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures (defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliantwithcompanypolicy
• PassPhysical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
